Class Schedule for 2019 (New Classes Added!)

All classes are being held at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida except for the classes starting on Wednesday and Thursday.  For classes starting on Wednesday or Thursday, please report to the location indicated below.  Classroom assignments for all other classes will be given to you when you check-in on Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, or Sunday morning in the Student Services Center, 1st Floor.  Lunch will be provided at no charge on Campus in Student Services Center on Saturday and Sunday from 11:45am till 1 pm.  The Banquet on Saturday evening will be in the Parish Life Center at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church located at 1200 Valparaiso Blvd. in Niceville  from 6 pm till 8:30 pm.  By request from the Church, please do not arrive before 6pm.  Opening ceremony starts promptly at 6:30 pm. 


 

Wednesday, September 18, thru Sunday, September 22

Firefighting Tactics and Strategy II – 8 am till 5 pm (Classroom located at Comfort Suites, 148 John Sims Pkwy, Niceville)

Fire Service Course Delivery - 8 am till 5 pm (Classroom located at Holiday Inn Express, 106 Bayshore Dr., Niceville)

Building Construction for the Fire Service - 8 am till 5 pm (Nutrition Center Dinning Room, 202-A N. Hwy 85, Niceville)

S-130/S-190/L-180 - 8 am till 5 pm (Jackson Guard Conference Room, 107 Nwy 85 North, Niceville) (Preference given to Florida FF I Students)

S330, Task Force/Strike Team Leader - 8 am till 5 pm; Wednesday thru Friday Only  (Classroom location TBD)


 

Thursday, September 19 through Friday, September 20

 

Florida Firefighter I Skills Second Signature Sign Off - 8 am till 5 pm (Class located Quality Inn, Niceville, FL)  Check-in will be on 9/18/2019 from 6:30p till 7:30p and 9/19/2019 from 6:30a till 7:30a in the Lobby/Breakfast area of Quality Inn.  (For FF I Students Only) Scholarships Available
